Never thought I'd say this but I turned down a shift at my day job because my property income covered it. Wild feeling. When I started I honestly wasn't sure this would work for me, I don't have a business background at all. But once I understood the numbers and saw how the lease agreements actually work, it clicked. Three months in and I'm already thinking about my second property. Genuinely changed how I think about what's possible without needing a huge deposit saved up first.

Got told no three times before landlord #4 said yes. Almost gave up after the second rejection, honestly. But the training kept reminding me that no's are part of the process, not a sign it's not working. When I finally got the yes, it felt like such a relief. Deal signed, $280/week above what I pay. Now that I've been through it once, approaching the next landlord doesn't feel scary at all, I know what to expect.

Still can't believe I'm managing 4 properties around my day job. I was worried this would eat up all my free time but the systems made it way more manageable than I thought. The landlord seemed interested on the phone so I asked if I could come see the property in person, figured it'd help build trust rather than just doing everything over the phone. Drove out an hour later, walked the place with him, answered all his questions face to face, and he agreed to the lease right there on the spot. First deal done, and honestly meeting in person made the whole thing feel more real and less like a cold pitch.

$2,100 profit this month from one property. Wish someone had shown me this was possible years ago. I'd looked into property investing before but always got stuck on needing a deposit I didn't have. This was the first approach that actually made sense for where I was at financially. Three weeks from starting the training to seeing real profit land in my account, still feels a bit surreal typing that out.

Balancing uni and this has been a lot, not going to pretend it's been effortless. But landing my first deal made it all worth it. I did most of the outreach between classes and on weekends, so it wasn't as time-consuming as I expected once I had a rhythm going. One property managed, planning my second before graduation. Honestly, this has shown me more about what I actually want to do with my life than three years of my degree has. I'm seriously considering doing this full-time instead of going into the field I studied for.
